about me

Iā€™m a researcher, writer, and outdoor educator from Scotland, with an MSc in Environment & Development.

I have experience in qualitative and quantitative research, directing and managing projects and creating engaging reports and articles. Previous research has focussed on the Just Transition away from coal, innovative urban governance for climate action, and community resilience in rural Scotland (visit my work page for more information). I am interested in how the transition to a nature-positive and low carbon society and economy can reduce inequalities within and between countries.

I am passionate about equality of access to the outdoors and am a trainee Mountain Leader. I have previously led sessions on biodiversity, growing and climate change with children and young adults. For more information, visit the services page.
